Tartu Jazz Club (TJC) is a cultural club for lovers of good, honest and beautiful music, which offers a cup of jazz – experience, relaxation, company and lifestyle.

TJC’s home is on the first floor of the University Café (Ülikooli 20, Tartu).
High quality and moody jazz music is played here 6 days a week. The evening program runs from Tuesday to Saturday.

TJC events run daily from April to October (inclusive) at 9 pm and in winter from November to March (inclusive) T at 7 pm, K, N and L at 8 pm and R at 9 pm. Guest events can start differently.

KINOLINA will open on Tuesdays, JAMMANS or Jam Sessions will take place on Wednesdays or the sounds of student bands will sound, on Thursdays there will be concerts with the collective name JAZZIPALA (sometimes also blues or another genre “track”) and on Fridays there will be various PAR-ED events with a wider range of styles. On average, there is also a Friday called EXCLUSIVE once a month. THEME EVENINGS are Saturday night boats dedicated to jazz greats, styles, anniversaries or other current events. During the day, the selected music always plays on the disc shelf. In addition, Tartu Folk Club visits us once a Wednesday on Wednesdays, and once a couple of months the Estonian Jazz Association presents concerts. TJC also collaborates with Jazzkaar, Mailaulu, Semiosalong, Muuilmamuusika, Eller School, UT Library phonotheque and many others.

TJC’s good partner University Café takes care of delicious food and pleasant service
