The young and ambitious musicians of Abraham’s Café have skillfully blended Jewish klezmer music and Arabic melodies and rhythms with folk and jazz sound language. Initially mainly arranging other compositions, the ensemble is currently writing his own compositions. Abraham’s Café, founded in the spring of 2010, has been playing together for a few years now. During this time, about fifty concerts have been given, both in Estonia and abroad. He has performed at the festivals “Jazzkaar”, “Tallinn Music Week 2011, 2012”, “Viljandi Folk”, Võru and Tartu Accordion Music Days, jazz improvisation festival “Vision”, “Tartu Music Week”, in addition at the Joensuu festival “Popkatu” in Finland, Positivus 2012 ″ in Latvia and “Euro-Arab Youth Music Expo” in Cyprus and won first prize in the 28th and third prize in the 27th Uno Naissoo creative competition with works by Kaspar Uljas with “Los Pescadores” and “Dim Dim”.
